William Michael Summers (Mike) was born and raised in Evanston, IL. In high school, he played football and his team later played and won championship in the Rose Bowl during the 1960s. Mike served as 5th ward alderman. His mother, Edna, also served as alderman. Mike speaks to issues surrounding housing in the area. This recording was part of the “Through The Eyes of Us” series.
