Janet Alexander Davis is an Evanston native who has been involved in the Evanston Community. Past employment included being a candy striper at the Community Hospital, and later an administrator within the same building under a new usership called Over the Rainbow Association. She has been involved in local ward politics and providing community news updates for multiple years. Widow to a prolific 5th ward alderman during the 1970s (Bru Alexander), and contributor to Shorefront Journal. This recording was part of the “Through The Eyes of Us” series.
